These terms cover buying and using templates from The Steady Sheet (thesteadysheet.com). By buying a template you agree to them.

What you're buying

Each template is a downloadable spreadsheet file (.xlsx) designed for Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Straight after checkout you're taken to your download page; bookmark it, or email us any time if you need the link again. There's no subscription.

Checkout and payment

Orders are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record (sold through Link). Stripe handles payment, sales tax and VAT, and its own buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars.

Your license

  • You may use the template for your own personal or household purposes, including your own rental properties, and share it with your partner or household.
  • You may change it as much as you like for your own use.
  • You may not resell, share publicly, give away, upload to template sites, or pass off the template or a modified version of it as your own.

Updates

If we release an update to the version you bought, you can download it free for life. New versions or new products may be sold separately.

Not advice

The templates are educational tools that organize numbers you enter. They are not financial, legal or tax advice. Results are estimates and depend on what you type in. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions based on them, especially for taxes.

Compatibility

The templates are built for Google Sheets and Excel 2010 or later. Apple Numbers and other spreadsheet apps aren't supported. If a template doesn't work for you, see our refund policy.

Limits on liability

We take care building and testing every template, but we provide them as they are. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from how you use a template or decisions you make with it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Trademarks

Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Google Sheets and Excel are trademarks of their owners. The Steady Sheet isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them.
