The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never see what you type into your spreadsheet, and we don't use advertising cookies.

Your spreadsheet data

Everything you enter into a template stays in your own file, on your computer or in your own Google Drive or OneDrive. The templates contain no macros, scripts or connections that send data anywhere. We can't see it.

When you buy

Checkout is run by Stripe, our merchant of record (orders show as sold through Link, Stripe's checkout). Stripe collects your payment details, email address and billing country to process the order and handle tax. We never see your full card details. Stripe shares your email and order details with us so we can support you and send updates for what you bought. Stripe's and Link's own privacy policies explain how they handle your data.

When you email us

If you write to hello@thesteadysheet.com, we keep your message and email address to reply and to help with your order.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and doesn't track you across other sites. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. When you open checkout, Stripe may set cookies needed to complete the payment.

Emails

We'll only email you about your order and updates to templates you bought. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@thesteadysheet.com. Some order records may need to be kept for tax and accounting reasons.
